Award Received for a valuable design Thai lady Costume Style Jeans

       Dr. Danai Reabsakul, a lecturer in the Department of Art and Design, was awarded a Plaque as The 1st Runner-up Award from the Fashion Lifestyle Design of Mac Smart Project, held by the MC Group Public Company Limited and the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand

       His design Thai Lady Costume Style Jeans was inspired by the Thai costumes designed and cut by Mc Jeans, which is a Thai costume created with denim fabric. This is a first  in Thailand, bringing together these stylistic differences perfectly and beautifully.This is also an environmental conservation effort, working with rag design, and tailoring to value and the lifestyle story of dress costumes. He take a month to design a costume using the technique of stitching fabrics and cutting the stencils, the smallest of which is 5 mm.

       The designer emphasized that Thai dress can be applied in everyday life, as well as being part of Thai Conservation, bringing together  Culture and Fashion for all time.

       The project was concluded, and the results announced on 10th March 2017, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center.
