University, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosarin Wongvilairat, Vice President for
Academic Affairs, was honoured to receive H.E. Mr. Shiro Sadoshima, Ambassador
of Japan to Thailand, alongside with other distinguished staff members from the
Embassy of Japan and representatives from reputed Japanese universities.
As a crossroad of Thailand, NU could prove to be a potential site of
Japanese Studies Center as there were immense interests from staff, students,
people in the lower north of Thailand being keen on learning the Japanese
language and its diversified culture. H.E. Sadoshima was also briefed
with a number of Japanese related activities run by Faculty of Humanities and
Japan Alumni Club before presiding over the 15th Japan Education Fair attended
by some 200 staff and students.
