The Faculty of Humanities strives
to be a “light of wisdom” to help people
to understand themselves, their society and their role
in society. The desired outcome is to encourage a spirit
of innovation, independence and deep-rooted search for
meaning and knowledge. The Faculty provides grants to
encourage and assist both instructors and students to
participate in research and to build networks of community
researchers in the Lower Northern Region of Thailand
to enhance their knowledge of the local communities
it serves.
As NaresuanUniversity was
established to serve the populations of the Lower Northern
provinces of Thailand, the Faculty of Humanities realizes
the importance of its participation with and responsibility
to the communities in the region, providing them with
more than just academic course.
|
The Faculty of Humanities aims to
assist in the development of the resources of people and
their communities, and to help people to be able to realize
their potential so that they may work for the sustainable
development of Thai society and the global community.
