The Faculty of Architecture, Naresuan
University, was established in 1996 as a bachelor program
in the Faculty of Engineering. The program was elevated
to the Faculty of Architecture in 2000 and now provides
2 bachelor programs in apply arts and design: 5-year bachelor
program in Architecture and 4-year bachelor program in
Packaging Design. The total number of students from both
programs is now more than 500. Since 2001, the faculty
has produced numbers of graduates who practices in various
professions in design disciplines through out the country-
mainly in lower northern region. The faculty conducts
various researches and provides many public services in
Arts, Architecture and Design such as the researches in
local arts and architecture conservation, Thai vernacular
arts and architecture studies, and local community and
urban planning of lower-northern provinces.
