The Health Sciences Research Institute
aims to become the super tertiary care center that will
support the further studies in the field of Health Sciences
and will increase the Health Sciences Studies to reach
international standards. The Health Sciences Research
Institute will lead Thai society to have proper and
effective health care and other related services to
be well established along with the provision of the
moral and ethnic prospective that would go along with
the services.
1. The Heart Centre of the Lower Northern
Part is conducted under the co-operation of the Buddha
Jinnarat Hospital, the Uttaradit Hospital, and Naresuan
University:
It is the first completed cycle Heart Center of the
Lower Northern part of Thailand that offers services
in terms of caring, renewal and prevention by the up-to-date
services such as the modern operation rooms, critical-care
unit or coronary care unit patients operation rooms,
ordinary wards with 40 beds, recovering rooms and the
Catheterization laboratory.
2. Thalassemia Research Unit
Thalassemia Research Unit was set up with the aim that
the diagnosis and research can be carried out at molecular
level on patients. Professor Dr.Torpong Saguansermsri
was invited to found the unit that invested more than
20 million Baht. More
3. Primary Research Unit
The center was set up to support the guaranteed Primary
Health Care to study for the development of the formal
pattern of the Health Care Services to correspond with
the people as well as to level up the medical studies
together with teaching aspects for professional doctors
and for the studies in the Health Sciences field.
