 The
Cosmetic and Natural Porduct Research Centre(CosNat) is
a collaborative project of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical
Sciences and the Health Sciences Research Institute. It
is a comprehensive a research centre for cosmetics and
natural products research and development. CosNat aims
to provide the best quality research, training and services
to cosmetic industries and communities.
1. Conduct research and developing cosmetics, cosmeceutics,
food supplements and natural and traditional medicines.
2. Provide services in cosmetics and natural derived products
testing for functional and clinical efficacy, chemical
analysis, safety and also offering product development,
pre and post marketing surveillance and technology transfer
to the local cosmetic industries.
3. Actively participate in teaching and training Master
of Science in Cosmetics Sciences candidates.
